At the end of summer, Junior Bear's room was full of shiny new toys. All Spring and Summer long, every Friday when Pappy Bear would get his pay, Junior Bear would be waiting just outside the cave, he knew when Pappy Bear came home from work, they would be off to get a new toy. Then came Fall and Pappy Bear knew that soon he would stop working, it would be time to hibernate.

Snow started to fall and Pappy bear was no longer working, Grandpa Bear, Grammy Bear, Momma Bear and Junior Bear were all at home in their cave. Soon the snow covered the front door of the cave. Junior Bear began to worry. "If the snow covers the front door, how will Pappy and i be able to go and buy me a new toy?" said Junior Bear in a quiet voice as he watch the snowfall.

Pappy Bear looked at Junior Bear's expression while he stared out the windows at the snow falling." "Don't worry Junior, Come Spring, I will go back to work and then I can buy you a new toy,' said Pappy Bear. "I have to wait until Spring? that's too long Pappy! I need a new toy now!" said Junior Bear in a whiny voice. "You have a room full of shiny new toys Junior. That's enough for now," said Pappy Bear

Momma bear came and sat down next to Junior Bear. "You have been a good little bear all Summer Long and Pappy bought you lots of new toys as a reward. "It is just like the toy that you had when you were my age," Junior asked Grandpa Bear. "You certainly have a talented Grammy Junior," said Pappy Bear to his happy little cub. "Yeah, it is certainly nice Junior. Not as nice as the ones I had when I was your age though," said Grandpa Bear. "The ones I had, I could eat after i was done playing with them," said Grandpa Bear with a smile and a wink to his grandson.
